Pricing for commercial cleaning services

Several factors must be taken into consideration to determine the price of a professional cleaning service. The most important of these factors is related to the type of cleaning service which can be either a scheduled cleaning service or a specialty cleaning service.

Scheduled services include basic day to day duties while specialty services are more labor intensive and are performed less frequently. Basic day to day duties are sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing thrash and maintaining bathrooms.

Specialty services include stripping floors and power washing exterior windows and walls, to mention a few. The price of these services will be a little higher than scheduled services. Their price depends on the equipment needed and the task involved.

Pricing will also depend on the size of your facility. “You can pay a $0.20 per square foot rate for buildings up to 10,000 square feet. This drops to $0.15 per square foot for up to 20,000 square feet buildings”.

$500 to $650 per month for the average office
$1,350 to $1,500 per month for a 10,000 square foot facility
$1,800 to $2,000 per month for a 20,000 square foot facility

Consider that some companies bring their own consumables and cleaning supplies, while others reach an agreement where you must provide such items.
